Is that yours?

So after all of the comments from everyone on why we should have a baby, Ian came in while I was holding Taitlyn. I told him to look at who I had. He was so excited (He loves babies) and he came and sat by me and said, "Is that yours La La?" Everyone got a good laugh out of that. He wanted to hold her so I took him in the living room. After each picture he would giggle and say,"Oh, La La, I like your baby!"

Taitlyn

Taitlyn (I'm not positive on the correct spelling, sorry Jenny!) is my cousin Jenny's little girl and she is adorable! She looks JUST like Jenny!!! She is a very happy baby. She just squealed all day long! We all thought she was crying, but she wasn't. She would get even louder when she had a toy to play with. We all took turns holding her! I think Cathy was the one that handed her to Gerry and made him hold her....so that brought on LOTS of comments from everyone---Chris was the WORST!!! SOMEDAY we will have kids, but not right now!!!

Torgerson Family Christmas Party

More pictures of the family. I didn't get pictures of everyone since some people were in the house and some were outside. I'm sure everyone that I did take a picture of wished that I wouldn't have taken them. I will say that Ian had my camera for a bit and some of these pictures were from that. He didn't do too bad of a job!

Torgerson Family Christmas Party

Here are some pictures of our Christmas Party. It was November 1, 2008. There are lots of kids again....like it was when we were younger. It was always fun to go to Grandma & Grandpa's so we could play with our cousins! Now it's the next generation of kids.

Adventure of the Day

We were driving to Richfield for my family Christmas Party (a little early, yes, but that was the only day that we could get together) and we went to get off the freeway and this is what we came upon. When we got there only one cop car was there with the white van. Gerry looked and was irritated that the cop was in the lane, but immediately after that the grey cop car came on the off ramp and blocked the van in. Right after that another cop car came flying by us on the shoulder and parked there. All 3 cops got out of their cars and had their guns drawn on the van. I didn't realize that at first until Gerry said, "You do realize that they have their guns drawn, don't you? If they start shooting, get down!" We were both crouched down. Our hearts were pounding! They kept their guns pointed at the guy until he got out and knelt down. They waited until the girl got out before they put their guns away. We obviously didn't dare take pictures when the guns were out, but here are some afterwards while we were still sitting there. I called Jessica to tell her what had happened and my sweet Mom jumped to conclusions and misunderstood the conversation (like she sometimes does!) and wanted to know why the guns were drawn on us! So the rest of the day my family was calling us "the criminals"

Finley's Traumatic Event

Finley HATES having a bath!!! As soon as we take her in the bathroom she starts trembling and it makes me feel bad!!!! She just stands in the bathtub shivering while we try to get the ordeal over with as quickly as possible! Gerry went and got the camera today and before he could come back in she had jumped out of the tub onto my lap. She loves having her hair brushed, though! So I dried her off (as best as I could because she HATES the blowdryer) and she has to air dry the rest of the way! The bottom picture is her eating her "treat" after her traumatic experience!!!

Organizing our junk!

This was our project a few weekends ago (while I was recovering and Gerry was so restless!) He's not used to sitting still. So I went in the basement and took pictures and supervised while he was hard at work! :) Gerry looked out the window and noticed a squirrel on our rocks so we watched it for a few minutes and then it ran back in his 'home'...our rocks!
